  1. Attend a worship service. Spending Sunday morning in worship and receiving a word is an excellent way to start the week. You may receive insight and motivation for the week ahead. Push yourself to get out of bed and go!

  2. Write a gratitude list. Every Sunday I write out the things that I’m grateful for. It’s a way to keep me focused on what’s important and appreciate my life. Gratitude lists help get you into a positive mindset and ready to tackle what’s ahead.

  3. Tidy up. Dedicate time to clean your workspace, bedroom, closet, refrigerator etc. Decluttering your environment can also help to declutter your mind.

  4. Write down your goals for the week. Take time to analyze what you want to accomplish in the week ahead and make a note of it. Writing it down gives you have a clear focus of what tasks you need to complete.

  5. Write in your planner or calendar. Having a planner helps to keep your life organized. Write down appointments, meetings, projects etc. so you won’t be surprised during the week.

  6. Pick out your clothes for the next day. Choosing your outfit the night before will allow you to have a smooth morning without feeling rushed.

  7. Call and/or visit friends and relatives. In some cultures, Sunday is a day for families to commune together. Take some time to visit your grandparents, or call a friend you haven’t spoken too. Investing time and showing interest creates fond memories and lasting relationships.

  8. Tie up loose ends. Complete anything that you haven’t finished from the previous week like last minute homework assignments due at 11:59 or responding to a message.

  9. Do something you enjoy. It is important to set aside time for yourself. Spend time engaging in your favorite activities and hobbies like reading, catching up on your favorite TV show, or taking a walk.
